FCR offers our customers custom engine building to meet their requirements. Though we specialize in OLDSMOBILE we also build other makes. Recently FCR built its first Volkswagen engine. It makes excellent average power and cranks out 200 horsepower putting FCR at the top with the best in the country on our first shot at a high performance pump gas VW motor. FCR will tackle most any engine build you are wanting.
 Although we sell custom cranks, we sometimes modify a stock crank, and this sometimes consists of the following services. Cryogenic treatment for strength, knife edging, offset grinding journals for stroke, nitriding, and oil shedding coatings.

 Machining is done precisely to FCR specifications by Taylor Enterprises exclusively. This includes any and all aspects of engine machining, balancing, crank grinding, cnc, milling, etc., all done in house at Taylor Enterprises. There is no limit to what we can accomplish!

 When it comes to thermal efficiency coatings, FCR uses the finest in the industry available! Our coating supplier also supplies the United States military, showing proof of quality available. All of our coatings are done in house including oil shedding coatings, anti friction, bearing, heat dissipating, and surface protectant coatings.      
When it comes to cylinder head and intake manifold porting, FCR will accomplish your needs. In house flow bench testing is a part of our procedure while porting your parts for the proper flow in the area where your camshaft and motor will be working to bring forth all the power possible for your engine. This is a very important area of how FCR gets your engine functioning best with the custom camshaft based off of your port dimensions, runner flow coefficients, and cylinder head flow. This is an integral part of how we get your motor to make the most average power in the rpm range your motor needs to work with your car's setup and intentions. Gasoline octane restrictions while doing these combinations can get tricky; we feel thats an area FCR has a strong edge compared to other builders.
